King’s Church Uckfield was established in 1983. Around this time of a good number of other new churches came to form the group called Newfrontiers. Over the years the church has met in different hired venues in the town both for its Sunday morning meeting and other activities in the week. In the late 1990s, some church members moved to Crowborough and joined others living there to plant Crowborough Community Church.
A number of people who grew up in the church have gone on to lead other churches. We have had the privilege too of seeing God transform many lives. Throughout our history the church has had a strong sense of serving the wider community of our town with many faithful volunteers playing their part. As we move forwards, we want to be true to our roots as a community that loves God and loves people!
