Giving

All that we do as a church is funded by the faithful and generous giving of our members.

What’s Giving All About?

As well as being a means of supporting the local church we belong to, giving is an important part of being a follower of Christ. We’re called to worship God over money and possessions and be good stewards of all that he’s given us.

We encourage all those who belong to our church family to give based on what we read in 2 Corinthians 9:7

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

The Practical Bit:

Online Giving

Most members give by Standing Order, and we would welcome this as the most efficient form of regular giving.

Here are our bank details:

HSBC    King’s Church Uckfield

Sort Code: 40-45-32      Account No: 51456342

If you would like to give by Standing Order and do not have access to online banking, please talk to Grace our administrator or Sandra our financial organiser.

Card Payments

Alternatively, you can give via card here for one off or regular donations:

Give by Card

Please note that transaction fees will be deducted from your gift if you use this method.

Legacies

We ask our committed members to prayerfully consider making a gift to King’s Church in their will. We are investing in God’s work both now and for generations to come. It is not difficult to arrange this kind of gift, usually known as a legacy. You can ask a solicitor for advice or have an initial chat with one of the church leadership team.

Gift Aid

If you pay tax in the UK, your gift can be increased by 25% thanks to the Government refunding to us the tax you paid on your giving.

If you would like to fill in a Gift Aid declaration, please complete the form here:

Alternatively, you can find a printed copy on the Welcome Desk and put the completed form in the giving box.
