King’s Church Uckfield is only able to do what we do because of the faithful and generous giving of its members.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
At King’s Church Uckfield we want to be willing and cheerful givers, offering money alongside time and prayer as our worship to God. We don’t ask for any financial contribution from occasional visitors, people on Alpha and other courses, or users of groups like The Ark toddler group.
Here are some reasons why we give financially:
Legacies
We ask our committed members to prayerfully consider making a gift to King’s Church in their will. We are investing in God’s work both now and for generations to come. It is not difficult to arrange this kind of gift, usually known as a legacy. You can ask a solicitor for advice or have an initial chat with one of the church leadership team.
Gift Aid
If you pay tax in the UK, your gift can be increased by 25% thanks to the Government refunding to us the tax you paid on your giving. If you would like to fill in a Gift Aid declaration, please download this form and give it to Sandra or Grace in the church office. Alternatively, you can find a printed copy on the Welcome Desk and put the completed form in the giving box.
Most members give by Standing Order, and we would welcome this as the most efficient form of regular giving. Here are our bank details:
