King’s Church has a close connection with a group of churches in North-Western Bulgaria, led by Georgi Zafirov.

Kelvin and I flew out a couple of weeks ago for a long weekend which included speaking in three different churches, talking with church leaders, teenagers and delivering a three hour seminar.
We were made very welcome at every stage. The church culture felt very similar to our own and we were inspired to see the new church building in Vratsa – something we have supported and prayed for in recent years. What a faith-building exercise to see their vision fulfilled. Our turn next!
While the UK was being battered by a hurricane, Bulgaria was enjoying unusually warm temperatures and we enjoyed some delightful moments driving into the mountains above Vratsa.
All together we both found it an enjoyable and faith-building trip. Ade travels to Bulgaria in June and we look forward to Georgi’s next visit here.
