We had another special time together on our annual weekend away at the fabulous Coldharbour camp site just 15 minutes outside Uckfield. The beauty of the venue being so near means once again people could drive in each day if they didn’t camp. As with previous years, we had an opportunity to enjoy unrushed time together, great food and a wide range of different activities for all-ages. It was fabulous to be able to have Fran and her team from the pottery workshop, Pots of Love, come and lead a session which everyone enjoyed. There were various other craft activities, games, including stoolball and one of the favourites seeing lots of people getting very wet. There was also a barn dance with a fine array of dancing skills on display. On the Sunday morning, we had our worship meeting which featured three baptisms – a truly special moment for us to share together as a church family. We are due to return to the same August bank holiday weekend next year.
