Ade Ward, our lead elder, has recently returned from a short trip to Vratsa in Bulgaria. Below is a short report from him.
As a church we love the relationship we have with our Christian friends in Bulgaria.
Georgi oversees a group of churches in the north west of the country, one of the poorest parts of the EU. We have had the privilege over the last few years of supporting them in their building project and in appointing an employed youth worker, Martin, pictured (left) with Georgi above.
After a two year gap, I was delighted to be able to go and see Georgi again and meet Martin for the first time. The highlight of the visit was speaking at a regional youth camp attended by around 60 teenagers.
