Newday is a big Christian youth festival held at the Norfolk Showground. With lots of teaching, worship, sports, cafes, games, water-fights etc. this was the place to be for 12-18 year olds.
This year we saw:
Total Attendance: 12,000 youth and leaders
Salvations: 370+ first-time commitments to Jesus
Recommitments: 97+ individual re-dedications
Healings: 314+ reported physical and personal healings
King’s Church Uckfield had a handful of teenagers (plus one keen family) attend the event alongside King’s Church Lewes; whom we are well connected with. It was such an amazing time and gave the opportunity to look at huge topics Christian teens face today. Across the week, these teens were able to deepen their understanding of themselves & God and build friendships along the way.
The week’s theme was “How to be Human”, understanding our own identity and image and ‘not letting the robots win’!
