After a fallow year in 2019, the King’s Church men’s darts competition returned for the 2020 edition on Friday 28 February.
Jeff Elmer returned looking for a third successive title, with inaugural winner Sid Martin also keen to regain his crown, but it was the constantly accurate Anthony Holman who triumphed, beating Jeff in the epic final which thankfully ended a few throws before a nearest the bull decider.
The quality of darts really was a sight to behold, and the banter and humorous heckling were terrific fun for everyone… unless they were throwing, of course. A massive thank you to John March who arranged the night and cooked a feast of jacket potatoes, sausages and other delights.
