We are delighted to be joining with Uckfield Baptist Church again this year to present our Late Night Shopping Nativity.
‘Meet the Nativity’ will be open from 6-9pm at Uckfield’s Late Night Christmas Shopping on Friday 3rd December, at The Source (at the bottom of the Luxford Car Park, opposite the Civic Centre.)
This is a special opportunity for families to experience first-hand what the celebration of Christmas is really all about. Visitors will be invited to a walk through, live nativity, where they can chat to the characters and ask them questions to find out more about their role in the Christmas story.
Find the angels, walk through the hills outside first century Bethlehem to chat to the shepherds and ask the inn keeper if he has any room. Enjoy live music as you meet baby Jesus laying in a manger, and his parents, Mary and Joseph in the stable, and then receive some gifts from the wise men who followed the star.
A free colouring booklet will be going directly into book bags of the children from local schools before the event, which they can then bring with them to collect stamps from the characters as they walk round and Meet the Nativity.
