One of the many ways that a church can be involved in the lives of the people the town, is being available to help and support within the community.
So, at King’s Church Uckfield last week, some of the members donned their gardening clothes, gathered up their gardening tools and set about helping a couple whose garden had become more difficult to manage – and have a lot of fun together at the same time.
As Christians, we want to show the love of God in practical ways, and clearing brambles, thorns and weeds, leaving behind a garden that looks neat and tidy is a positive way to show love to the community of Uckfield.
