Recently we had our sixth annual weekend away at the lovely campsite at Coldharbour Meadows.
It’s the perfect venue as people who don’t camp can drive the 15 minutes or so and attend as day visitors. It was fantastic to having a good number of people come to their first weekend away with us after joining the church since the last one. We had a great time enjoying the good weather and unrushed time over fantastic food prepared by Martin and his team. There were games for all ages, craft and marshmallows cooked over a bonfire. Charlie and Grace did a great job hosting the 80’s themed game and people did really well with their costumes. We had two excellent meetings on the Saturday and Sunday mornings for all-ages and it was a particular delight to baptise two people. We very much look forward to next year’s weekend away!
